I say that you scratch the mossleman and just pay $2,500 and get a custom turbo set up. The mossleman is too expensive.

Hell yeah it is. But all that custom work adds up as well. I heard you also have to custom some things for the mossleman turbo as well.

the mossleman turbo kit said like 317hp. but i don't know they also said that the M104 motor has like 197? pounds of touque. my manual says like 236 something like that.. i don';t know. i ask the guy that is selling it about a blow off valve and he said it was built in to the intercooler.... i wouldn't want that.. cause when i go turbo i gotta have the sound too

i would much rather go custom. if it was cheaper and about the same. twin turbo would be better right? or just one bigturbo? like t5/t6? all i know is. im gonna have to have more power.

any one know about a chip and high flow catalytic converter?

One thing you have to keep in consideration is all the stress you're putting on that motor. It's a 10 yr old car things are more then likely you're going to blow your head gasket first which is not a cheap fix, $1,500 is a minimum. To do it right with re-grinding down the cam and new valve seals you're looking at $2,500. I personally would re-do my gaskets, valves, and re-grind my cam first. Make it ready for the turbo install. By doing that you'll also add more HP and make it safer to run under all that pressure.

Keep us updated with your project..

ahahah i agree....the w124's are too heavy and just aren't made for 'racing' purposes.

now my friend let me drive his evo MR around and that stupid thing is a monster!! its totally different when you sit in it, and when you drive it. its a monster, theres no other way to put it.

Well I agree that off the line our 124's are slow but once it get's moving watch out!!. I've taken a few ricers on the freeway and they were pretty surprised. Does anybody know the hp of the 99- 2004 Mustang V6's? I caught up to one racing a civic off the 10. I was a lil surprised I thought the Mustang would have more HP then my MB. Maybe it was just driving skills haha

pssshhh lol a v6 mustang! they are weak! anything could take a v6 mustang! I took out an v8 explorer with one of my 300's but it was a running start. The mustang has around 152-158 to the rear wheels and is only 3.8L buy is heavy and ugly! I love mb on the freeway my top mph was at 118mph for like 5 sec but my front end started shaking really bad so that was the last time i did that!

Well if you have to consider two things about my comment and surprise.

1) My W124 is a 15 yr old 4door family sedan vs a Newer 5yr two door sports car.

2) The Mustang & ricer flew past me 90mph + and I still caught up and blew them away.

I'm surprised at how many people complain on here about how slow their W124's are. I only have a 260 so I can imagine how much quicker the 300 is. Just properly maintain and tune your W124's and you'll be ok. These really aren't made for racing, if something breaks it's going to be expensive.

i have a w210. mustang v6 and civic..... are slow. ive tore up mustang gts (v8) with my e320. they have a little off the line but on the interstate, they are a joke. i guess my 5-speed automatic helps out alot compared to the older 4-speed autos.

who said i was gonna race my car? i normally drive 100mph+ every where i go. lol
