foot pedals will they fit?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

will these fit by just attaching them or do you have to customize?

I would just recommend investing in some SLK sport pedals.

Good gosh, don't get those fake ones! I recommend you get the REAL German made Mercedes Benz aluminum pedals. The pieces are available individually - and aren't too expensive. The parking brake and brake pedals are a direct swap, but the accelerator pedal needs some minor modding to get it to fit. Ashman did this mod and posted the details on another forum.

Do you have a part number or a website you can purchase them from? Would you also happen to know the link to ashman's DIY pedal install?

did I do a diy pedal install?

THose will fit but you have to drill them in. drilling is the tough part to get the screws lined up.

Those may be fake but they are actually not bad.

I prefer the SLK pedals myself, they simply install easily. and cost is less than $50.00

THe gas and brake pedal fromt he slk works easily and then you use the parking brake pedal from the New SL500.

Re the AMG pedals:

emergency brake pedal is direct swap.
foot rest pedal just screws in
brake pedal requires you to drill 4 holes through the steel brake pedal plate to fit. I needed someone to hold the pedal down as if braking while I drilled to get the proper angle to complete the job.
the gas pedal if placed at the top of the existing pedal (its shorter than the existing pedal) screws right into the plastic at the top however I needed to do some slight cutting with a box cutter on the side to get a nut in for one on the bottom

I have never had any problems with traction or fitment stability and they look great IMO. They throw in those AMG badge letters because they are junk and look different than the real ones as it relates to finish/quality wise so I'd just throw that out.

The one you have pictured or this one with the others which i'd recommend as a set if you were to get this type...

I had purchased them on ebay but the prices now are way cheaper.

Like I said they fit and look nice, no questions about the quality as the pedals are really not bad at all.

I personally prefer the oem ones from the SLK with the R230SL Parking brake cover, which can be gotten quite cheap from the dealership. and are simply slip it on and go no drilling required.

Little something to add: The R230 SL parking brake pedal will have oval circles - but the W203 parking brake pedal has the round ones that matches the SLK pedals.

What's so special about the SLK pedals? Are the aluminum like the ones on ebay or are they just regular rubber pedals? Pics would help.

The SLk pedlas are aluminum with rubber dots on them they look nice.

I like them because they fit perfect and no drilling is required.

The aftermarket pedals on ebay look nice, but you have to drill the brake pedal and the accellerator to fit them.

Either way both are good quality and look great.

I catch your drift now, so these are fairly easy to acquire through a dealer or a dismantler then huh?
