Looking for part 012-545-2032

I am trying to find this part. It is an engine control unit for a 1990 300CE. The car will not shift into 5th gear and the dealership believes it is this part. If anyone has a contact in Germany or in the UK where I can find it please let me know!!!

It would be great if we could find a rebuild. The part does need to be this specific part number and unit. I am in Calgary, Alberta. Where in CA are you? If you can find one, I can even fly down to pick it up. The car currently has the wrong unit in it. It has one for a SL.

The VN for the Car is WDB1240511B372707. It is a 1990 300CE 24V, 85000km. I imported the car from Japan. It is a 5 speed Automatic.
The dealership got the part number from Germany. This Control unit sits in the passenger side of the car almost under the windshield, behind the battery. It is a plastic/metal encased control unit that just plugs into the electrical system. It would be about 7” x 3” x 2”. It controls a number of different things, shifting for the transmission, controls the mechanical speedometer.

well i checked and that part is a grey market part for the us marketplace. which means we can't get it. sorry we couldnt help.

its a part that was not made for the market place that you are requesting it for. like manual transmissions are not parts that are commonly used in mbz in the usa; however they are used in europe,
