some people roll their fender with a baseball bat but i would highly NOT recommend this method. if you have never done it before then you should let someone else whos done it before do it. if you dont know what you are doing with the bat you risk not getting a uniform roll and/or creasing/cracking the paint which can result in the paint flaking/chipping off.

you can also rent the fender rolling tool from tirerack or one of those places, its the haweka fender roller, heres some pics...

rent huh?? THAT'S A PERFECT IDEA! After searching the archives,I did find out that you should heat the lip up.. will this actually help the flexibility of the paint as well ? I know that it will soften the metal for ease of rolling- but I don't know if it's also good for preservation of paint integrity-avoiding cracking...Will taping the contact area of the lip with masking tape also help avoid paint damage?

rolled 'em

I just got done rolling my fenders. It took me 3 hrs to do all 4. No cracks, No distortion, PERFECT!

REnted via Euro styles East out of PA

You get it for 3 days for 60 bucks. The trick is the heat gun. If you're having rubbing problems, 3 hrs and you're fixed for life!
