sorry to break the news. all amg wheels have amg on them. if they dont they are fake. if a clone company stamps amg and they are not....big lawsuit.

here is what a real one looks like. it has amg in the center.

Don't want to let the cat out of the hat but i can get billet wheels at 400-500 each plus tires and i can bring my own cad design or use theirs. Also since it's a two piece wheel the outer rim or ring can be chromed and the center billet could be powder coated or chromed or whatever your taste is. If you want their info pm me.

YOU KNOW YOU WANT THESE! DON'T DROOL ON YOUR KEYBOARD!

no one will ever know. take you for example; you know a bunch about benzes but you didnt know about these rims. just put amg in the add and you are good to go. if the next guy doesnt know that they are not the real deal then no skin off your back or his.

the dorks didnt do the estimate today so i am in limbo. i leave for the keys tomorrow night. the proposition of doing your own design is interesting. my buddy is a cad/cam guy and is the supervisor of a shop that works in millionths. he is going on the trip with me. i will ask him what it would cost to compare the 2. 400 is reasonable if i can have them in black chrome or powder coat that looks like black chrome.

I guess so! I will be making my wheels with them for my stang and after that my benz. But you also have to get the right hub mounting size and depth so it can be hubcentric.

These are the sizes in any offset.
Sizes Widths
17X= 7 - 8 - 10
18X= 7 - 8 - 9 - 10
19X= 8 - 10
20X= 8.5 - 10
22X= 10

lol Ram! Those wheels were insane when they were on your car. Didn't you have a custom lip job on the rear though? 10" I believe from what I read on the 500e forums.

Dude go with the Mayas, the BBS wheels are too common and don't give off the "baller-factor" they look like wheels that belong on an E30 3-Series.

Mayas or BBS LM's or AMG Split Spoke!

The bbs LM I think look killer. They have that racetrack pedigree look.

And they will show off the brakes nicely.

I've heard and seen "spinners" wheels (IMO only looks good on SUV), what are "floaters"?

DuB Spinners have an inner cover where you won't see your brake but a surface thats suppose to match the color of your car. Floaters are the type of spinners that stay still while in motion- so they are the opposite of spinners. I've seen some on the highway and you think your eyes are playing tricks on you.Usually floaters cover the entire lip of the rim to make it that more illusional. I'll try to find a pick of a Dub spinner, its black- a perfect match for me.

LOL wtf you guys? i just landed in ft. lauderdale and i see you guys talking about spinners. come on. why not post some wire wheels?

back to the topic. the adjuster came out and made a laundry list of parts. we think that only 5-10 are bad. so that is good news.

the lms dont quite give me the hard on factor that the mayas do but the mayas are freaking 600+ bux. the thing i dont like about the lms are the centers. i dont like that relief cut they made. i am definately leaning towards that style. i get the point on the rx2's and the e36 bodies. it sux but you are right.

ram you *****....j/k you and your fat *** tire wells make me jealous as hell. freakin 10" wheels you darn e500 guys. anyhow post up some pix of those whickid 10" ers.

How you gonna diss spinners when you have a bodykit? Thats not such a classy look to me, if anything its the next closest thing to a ricer mobile with that bright red paint job to add??? How you gonna talk, or is it just cause its not a luxury car fad?

For $500 -600 per rim wouldn't it be better to go custom made. Iforged or HRE
they can make as deep as you want whatever offset you need as well as chrome or polish lip with color matched centers. I think that would be a whole lot better. Sorry those DUbs got to go... they don't belong on a Benz.
Maybe on a SUV....Doesn't matter how much they might cost, there's no price tag on class..

true Ben. If anything, iForged would be the wheels to get rather than HRE's unless you want to spend 900+ per wheel and I'm not kidding. iForged are a little cheaper but then again, I've heard some complaints about them. Mainly being their customer service and what not. Hell, if you have the money. HRE Competitions all the way!

Yeah, those floaters and spinners definitely dont belong on a Benz, a W124 to be specific.
