interior and exterior lighting
hey again, ive got a new idea on an easy mod for my 300ce....lights everywhere. because my car is white im thinking about putting in blue(might change) interior accent lighting and either blue or white neon/led underlights. any suggestions, tip, critiques, ideas or anything else? is it easy to wire or will it be a pain? thanks again

doing the switches is a lot of work. time consuming but not too difficult, that is unless you lose pieces for the switches....
I've done it a few times for myself and a few friends. I redid all my switches with blue leds.. so they light up blue.
Some of them the resistors failed, so I have to fix them...
I should have left the oem resistors in them. The ones that came with the led's some last for a long time and some don't last for more than a few months... but I have tons of them so I am not worried.

do the switches become dimmer after installing the leds? and how would i go about installing them? im thinking if i do blue switches with a blue accent lighting kit, it would be nice. also, is it possible to change the light on my gauges? thanks

as others says .. it needs some time to do ..
the gauges is easy ... try to make it white face , it'll look cool with the blue lights

anything is better than the stock yellowish greenish orange led color. the blue looks great in my opinon, red looks great too and white looks great, even real green leds look great.

also, does anyone know how large of a resistor i should use when installing the led in my shifter? 330 ohm maybe? im not sure, i tried the math but cant quite figure it out. thanks again

no, i was planning on heading to radioshack tomorrow to pick em up. where did you get yours at? how would i go about installing them in front of/behind the gauges and in the instrument panel? thanks
