I got lazy and the car wash curbed my wheels on monday. Sooo I'm thinking I'm gonna give the hammers a new finish. Black or Gunmetal centers and repolish the lips??

widebodys are always nice when done right. but imo, it doesnt look right on a w210. why? because since the headlights are round it makes me front end look too boubley (word? lol). to me it needs to flow and i think it looks better with stock fenders because it levels out the roundness the headlights give it. now it this were on a w124 i think it could be executed. i can appreciate good body work (which it seems like this one has.. unless i can see it in person bc im so picky =P )
as far as black wheels, thats all personal prefrence. im all about following the same route on a car (luxury + racer = nono) . i think that mb have a certain level of class they need to maintain and black wheels make it too honda boy racerish in my eyes. a high polish suites the class very well, but chrome is too much. theres a fine line you have to play around in cars. sometimes u cross it and push the envelope btu thats where the fun lies. being like everyone else is no fun either.
