So, It happened ... got into a accident earlier around 4:15pm today. I was at a red light completely stopped while a Volkswagen Beetle packed with 17 year olds completely rear ended me at around 40-50MPH. She stated to the officer that she wasn't playing attention to the road and when she looked up she had no time to react and impacted my car. The impact was so hard that it flew my car forward around one and a half car lengths having me rear end another stopped car. Three car accident total. I'm pretty bummed out and pissed. At least my friend and I are safe.

The car is a total loss. Already have my lawyer and etc working on it.

Here are some pictures ...

The f*cken b*tch that hit me ... her car had minimal damages...

The distance they pushed my car forward ...

So... I took everything out of my car already. The lights are all messed up. System is out - wheels are out. Basically everything but the shocks and springs.

Whoever wants the springs and shocks ... let me know ... but i'm not gonna uninstall them. You'll have to do it. We can do a swap or whatever.

Man ...

Dude that sucks. the important thing is that you are ok and not dead. the car can be replaced but you cannot.

On another note...
Are you going to replace it with another W124, or are you going to go with something else altogether?

***** dude, I don't even know what to say. I'm glad you're OK.

This is a dark day for MBWorld to lose a stunning w124 like yours.

:

Also, go to a chiropractor. lots of the chronic aches and pains that people have are the long term effects of injuries from car accidents that people blow off as "no big deal".

Take care Chris.

Thanks Matt and Alon.

Definitely happy with how the car held up with such a hard impact. I on the other hand ... I'm so PISSED!

Visiting the Chiropractor tomorrow and taking care of everything. Have to get a rental car.

and yeah I plan to get another W124. It's still up in the air or I might settle with a C32. I'll keep you all posted.

That's devastating! It's good you're alright!! If it were up to me, beatles would be banned from the road, and this would have never happened! damn... i don't even know what to say. i was realy looking forward to seeing that baby on saturday... but, seriously, it's good you're alright! Luckily, those benzes are good with accidents. man i'm sorry. i've had 2 cars totalled, both not my fault... i know how it feels... not cool at all.

I'm really sorry to see that. But, it's good to see you're not in the hospital.

A few years ago my buddy lost control of his porsche in the rain and we hit a stopped LS400 at 70mph and then an Accord. I broke both arms, legs, ribs, cut my scalp, nose, cheek, etc. I had to have surgery to keep gaps out of my hairline and had to wait months on end to get back to school/work. My friend lost some movement in his wrist due to it being fused with metal and has some facial scars that show even after 100k in surgery. I have no signs of being hurt to this day and am in the best shape of my life, since I always remember how horrible it was not to be able to move in general for all those months. I totaled a lovely car as well a few years back when an uninsured driver made a left in front of me, but at least you don't have to go through the sh* t I did, injury wise. Sue her if the insurance tries to screw you and get a new beauty, since it was 110% her fault. She was careless and could have taken your life, as well as your W124.

It left - the cop said the car wasn't needed for anything.

It was a green saturn and ... barely anything happened to it. like ... scratches and that was it.

stupid 17 year old girl drivers...she was probably talking on the phone while playing with the radio.."Hang on...I think I just hit someone!"

It's sad to see your w124 go (it was one of the best!), but soon enough you'll be back on your feet with a new car to start modding. Get a 400E!

Glad you're okay

Duuuude... let me be the first to say ... and Im truly sorry for what happened! The world is full of carless people. They dont understand that driving isnt a thing do just do, its a responsibility and people can be hurt or killed as a result of their carelessness. Its not fair dude, your car was nice! I was actually looking to your car for cues on what to do to mine.. Well, whatever the case is, your okay, and thats what counts. There are millions of w124s around to be had.
