I'm in the same boat as you...I might go for some Zimmerman Sport rotors and some Pagid pads. Along with some new brakes lines so I can have a better pedal-to-foot feel. Do you have any ideas yet?

Nope, still looking.... BTW, XO3 thanks for the offer but I was thinking aftermarket rotors w/oem pads and possible stolen idea from battlecat714 about the brake lines

I think the 500e, C43/32 (one of the two) brake system works with the w124 as well

I'm not going to even try....I can't imagine changing the winter 15" wheels/tires w/additional labor of replacing complete set of brakes. that would be pretty crazy...

Let me ask you a question. If everyone is saying that 911 brakes will fit....does it mean that Brembo Big Kit would fit as well?

W124's
Actually there are a lot of applications out there such as BBK's that will fit but it's just the $$$ that set everyone back, but owners usually put kits on 500E's. It's no different from the other W124, but as I said ... $$$ and actually finding the right set up is hard these days but they are out there for sure.

I replaced all four corners with Zimmerman drilled rotors and ceramic pads. I am very, very pleased with the stopping power, low dust etc. Just a super set up IMO. I have stainless lines as well, just haven't installed yet.

Purchased the rotors and pads from -www.autopartsplace.com Stainless lines came of ebay.

Good luck with your choice,

Jayare
