Rear camber on 95 E420
I stared to feel some vibration at speed which felt like a out of balance tire! Took it to the shop where I got my tires and told him to check and see if any out of balance ! Shortly there after he called me over and said I had more than a balance problem! The rear drivers side tire on the inside of the tread was GONE as in the wire was hangin out! I bought a new pair of tires and a contacted my front end align guy ! The local MB guru said there was a toe adjust on the rear! We got it on the align mach and we did have a toe prob but was more toe in that out but was told that I had more than normal neg camber which it seems there is no adjust? So if no adjust how can I get some pos camber in the rear? Any comment will be appeciated!

Did you put lowering springs on this car? You might have some worn out bushings in the rear suspension. I know that some people here have rear camber adjustment linkages that are custom made.

K-MAC (Ausy company) Rear Camber Kit # 502026 H.
219 USD through Shox.com. Not listed on their site but they do stock it.
I purchased one earlier in the week from them. You can also get them more expensively through K-MAC itself.

W124's
We should all join up and pitch in and have custom adjustable control arms made for our cars. the more people the cheaper!
I do want to get KMAC's soon though.
Is there a full bushing kit out there for our cars?

K-Mac lists adjustable front kits for early W124s.
I know GSXR (Dave M.) tried at least one make of Camber arm but he found it too insubstantial, the K-MAC kit was better made and more reliable in his view.

I Installed "Benzboy" Camber Arms
I've got my Vogtlands on Bump 1 (the thinnest) pads in the rear. Went to my indie Benz mechanic to get an alignment and he tells me afterwards that "it's just within spec" but no data printout. Being somewhat suspicious, (he never did put my car back together correctly after replacing the evaporator + all vacuum pods), I took it to an independent alignment shop. Guess what? It was at -2 degrees; spec is -.5 degree or less!
After installing the adjustable benzboy camber arms ($155 shipped on a group buy) and $722 later (frozen front linkage; had to install new ones) she's finally tracking correctly. The arms work fine, although installation is a bit of a b**ch, as you have to slightly enlarge the inner pivot holes on the car suspension with an angle drill (from 12 mm to 1/2", or 12.7 mm), so the seemingly low cost of the arms is offset by the higher installation cost (probably an hour additional labour).
See www.benzboy.com
Attached is a pic of the arms....

So my tires are wearing unevenly, which is as expected since it's on H&R springs. Although the shop that lowered my car said they were able to get the camber within spec, I never believed them because I've read on the forums that you have to get a camber kit.
Low and behold, my tires are effed up. My question is this- do I need a camber kit only for the rear? Are the fronts adjustable to the point where you should be able to get the camber within spec if you have lowering springs?
This has been a mystery to me for the last few years, and buying a camber kit will save me money in the long run due to excess tire wear. Thanks guys!

I had a set of camber arms on the rear of my E420.
bought them off Ebay 6 months ago.
I recently removed them because
one of them kept loosening up ie. throwing more negative camber
than the other. They now sit in my spare tire well.
I rotate my tires every month so its a non issue for me.
