just baught my 1st W124!!! euro-spec 320CE
Well guys, I just wanted to introduce my self to the w124 community since I am now the prowd owner of a 1994 eurospec 320CE, silver exterior with black interior, 160,000 original KM (100K miles), 1 owner car... the car has been taken to the dealer since day 1 and is in pretty much perfect working condition..the only real "wear" that I can notice is the suspension, which im guessing will need an overhaul the following year.. (roads in venezuela suck). heres the story behind all this.......
im from Venezuela, I live and go to school here in Miami FL. My 1st original car over there was a 1986 w126 300se with a 500 engine conversion, that car has been in the family since day 1, when they wanted to sell it, i decided to keep it and restore it... i wanted to go ahead and build it (project car) but decided that the car was too old for me and that I wanted to something a little newer, better.... the car was sold to my uncle (this car refuses to leave the family).. which he plans to keep it and drive it, after going back and forth on what car to buy.... i decided that a W124 was what i wanted, its a mercedes, a nice one, its "old-school" but not outdated and old, its a solid car & has lots of potential for modifying and upgrading... which is what i want, plus..the thing was right in the budget I had set myself so I coudnt resist.... these cars in Venezuela are extremely rare ("CE"s) and I was lucky to find one and in such good condition...
the only thing that has me worried as that i will be driving this car VERY little..and I really dont want it to be like the W126... that everytime I went to use it, something was wrong with it, the car... to be honest, will prob. average 8000KMs a year..and that is if I decide to take in a road trip, is this the type of car that will "wear out" if it is not used on a daily basis?????
Anyways, im starting to look around..and I already have a good idea of what I want to do with this car.. now its just a matter of orginizing myself and lots of planning... I want my upgrades to concentrate in body, suspension, wheels, audo system... I like everything to look like it was meant to be there from the factory, clean, and most importantly, i like it to drive like it just rolled out of the showroom floor...
well, thats all..and sorry for the LONG post, I just thaught i rather post everything at once.. see you guys around.

sorry bud, the only pics I currently have are the ones from the "sale add" that may not be copy & pasted..... and the car is in Venezuela and im currently here in miami, ill have someone over there take pics of the thing and send them to me...asap.
for now, for those that REALLY NEED pics, you can look for it on www.tucarro.com/index2.html .... Steps:
look for mercedes logo on the left of the page and click on it.
a list of MB models will show up, click on "E class"
a new list of E classes for sale will show up...
look for the only silver 1994 320CE on the list and click on it...
i think some rather wait for me to post pics... lol
