windshield

my windshield seems to have a zillion very thin scratches in it and it makes it nearly impossible to drive in the rain. I dont know how it is possible to be this rough on a car but the previous owner managed to do so. I was curious if other models windshields are the same as the 300E?? If so ill search the junk yards. Help!

Thanks

Be careful, silicon wiper blades can have an adverse affect with Rain-X. Rain-X ruined a pair of silicon wipers on my old bronco. Wipe your blades with alcohol wipes before you Rain-X the windshield to keep teh blade have a clean contact with the layer of Rain-X on teh glass. You will be pleased with the outcome!

I would suggest that you get a new windshield. By the time they pull one from a wreck...........just forget the old windshield and get a new one!
And you don't have to cuss, people are here to help you.
But if you must have a second-hand, scratched, pitted, chipped one, the we might question your intelligence or ignorance!!

let me get this straight - two people try to answer your question and you start acting like a douche. Then people are confused, but continue trying to help and you start acting like an even bigger douche.

You are a noob, and you need to be more respectful of people that are trying to help you. If this is just the way you always are, then why don't you f@ck off and go somewhere else for advice!

Chill out, apologize, or ban!

Well once you decided to show your "ignorance" comment you reaped the whirlwind....

As for leaving...well one less verbal instigator the better...
If you decide to leave or they "ban" you, so much the better for the site.
You can always go somehwere else...'
I am sure there are others of your calibre that you will interact with much better than here.
