This is unbelievable
I know this isn't a w124, but I had never seen such a thing. An SL73 AMG. A 7.3 liter engine is just unbelievable. It's Japanese I think, but you can still check out the pictures.

Dang, That's one clean SL73.
That car just screams "baller" status. Such a rare car as well - Only 85 known SL73's were produced world wide through AMG. Let's just say the Pagani Zonda uses the same engine.

Amg actually produced a few even more powerful R129s, called the SL730. They were made especially for the Sultan of Brunei. 565Bhp I think.

I have driven an SL60 AMG (1 of 32 made) with a 400bhp V8.

The BRABUS SL7.3S motor is rated at 582bhp/569lbft torque. Road and Track tested the SL7.3S in the Feb 2000 issue and rated it at 599bhp/570lbft.
