ok then heres the question I pose to you. How did the AMG parts, not the body kit, I'm talking about suspension and exhaust get on the car if AMG was a seperate entity to MB at this time?

The same way the body kit was added...they ordered it from AMG and the parts were installed at MB. I'd say the MB factory workers are competent enough to add bolt on accessories to the car, don't you?

Not intended as sarcasm.....but...." it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it ".

Difficult to place value on unique or collector vehicles.
Only have to look at the range of prices at an auction like Barrett Jackson.

Mechanical and cosmetic condition along with true mileage are more important with what is deemed a unique vehicle then a standard one.
The ability to provide "provenance" adds to the desirability for collectors.

For a starting point you must decide what you believe it is worth.
Presently what is your insured replacement value?
Finally how bad is your need to sell, or can you hold for the right buyer?
From that point, the market will give you feedback.
Sells quickly then it's fairly or underpriced.
No offers , then it's overpriced for the current potential buyers.

If a buyer is serious and really wants the car, then he will negotiate from your asking price.

This is exactly what I tried to say, it just wasn't as clear. Thanks RBYCC

Your arguing is not really going to make it authentic, some of us DO know our stuff
but hey - I once had a BMW e36 based alpina and it had been assembled by Alpina and registered as an Alpina not a BMW. That was a "genuine" alpina not a bmw with an alpina styling kit.

So looking at the car from this point of view, the car is not an AMG unless the model plate and paperwork shows AMG... This doesn't change the fact it's a nice w124.... and I'd really like a car like yours!

Also, you may lower the price a tad bit because of the condition of the front bumper. Since itl'l need to be replaced. That's IF someone can find the AMG GenI front bumper. $1,400 new. Only ONE left in the whole world. I know where the exact location is.

How about a spiffy Brabus one...even a mold? Doesn't the BBS front spoiler look similar to the Brabus?

Front Bumper...

I can probably get it for $1,150-1,200.

Retail is $1,400.

Someone should get it. There's only one left. LOL Comes with the fog lights and all the necessary pieces needed for the front bumper.

I wish I could man, that would look sweet when I get the wheels on. I really just want the look Mark has. I like the front/rear spoiler look, not so much side skirts and rear bumper. Just my preference.

(can't you get a Wald kit for this much? I don't really know.)
