3.0 liter AMG?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...QQcmdZViewItem
Check this out.. I'm not sure if this dude is full of crap or not... He said that he doesn't have the AMG airbox cover and the speedometer was changed to the non-amg version, but he claims it is authentic AMG. Anybody know any other discerning characteristics in w124 MB's that would make it easy to tell if it was really AMG?

That car is pretty baller.
Garage Current has some of the most AMG/Modded W124s that I know of.
I have my doubts if its a legit AMG 3.2L.
Most of the "AMG" cars in Japan were modded outside of AMG, meaning some weren't from the factory and customers did it themselves.

It's a 300E-24 Sportline with an AMG bodykit (the VIN would tell you if the kit was factory fitted or aftermarket). This model was not sold in the US but was sold in other markets. (I used to have one). It seems to have every extra going but is not technically an AMG. I doubt that it ever had 'AMG' on the air intake. Nice car all the same.

According to my knowledge, there was no 3.0 liter AMG HAMMER EVER !!
Plus the AMG's came with Recaro's and the AMG Steering Wheel, and this car obviously has none !!
The AMG's also came with only the drivers side side view mirror. Which as you can see this car has both.
I think he just did the whole bodykit lot and swapped an engine and got all the necessary decals for the engine !!

Is it just me or is the front bumper broken? (missing the entire center chunk?) I also like how he didn't bother to vacuum the carpets or get some OEM floormats. Is the fire extinguisher supposed to be under the driver's seat? I thought that was for the passenger side.
Pretty nice nonetheless!

Cool, I guess I was thinking of that rare "oddments" box that is mounted on the passenger side. I guess it makes more sense to have the extinguisher on the driver's side, easily accesible and all.
