Have one and may need another in the driveway to satisfy the household.

Very hard to find a nice one without paying through the nose for it.

My '88 300TE wagon

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Apologize for the pic quality as it was taken by a Droid smartphone.

Lovin' this wagon, been riding in it since i was 3 and now I drive it!

Could do with some tints, problem is, cannot decide which tint color and darkness scale to put up with this red paint that i may repaint in the later future.

I think the wheels on it are butt ugly, but thats probably cuz of the condition they are in.. finish is peeling off, and tempted to go on junkyard hunting to find a wrecked Benz with wheels in superb condition.

Also plan to give the headlights an Euro touch sometimes during summer, its on the list though.

Parting 92 4Matic

Not mine but the seller is close to me. He doesn't ship but I can assist with small items. He want's $700 for all of it but is now parting.

Reason for sale: Trans slipping, damage to right door and front fender. Otherwise very clean Champagne color, Beige or Parchment leather interior. Heated seats are very clean, 9 of 10. I'd get them but has the narrow ribbed pattern instead of the rectangular. The whole interior is actually very nice.

Welcome! Is it just me, or is the front paint shinier than the rear?

You are quite correct, the fender that looks shiny had been replaced due to a truck that had backed up into it. I didn't have this car at that time. When my grandpa got it back he noticed the difference and wished he had asked the body shop to repaint the rest.

They seem to never be finished and haven't taken any recent pics. It's been sitting since I've been driving the cab. The w/p leaks so I have a new pump and belt tensioner to install. Also got another trans that was completely rebuilt a couple of years ago to install. As usual, I'm considering selling it with all my other projects but it's such a buyers market...

Bike racks?? Any suggestions for a roof system? I'm interested in something that will carry two bikes, expandable to four bikes.
