I donno, I saw a page (german?) in which someone retro'd HIDs into the euro housing (looked like the Tyco ones), but they found that the inside of the housing reflected too much of the light around, so he had to make the housing flat black to eliminate glare. It resulted in a very un-natural and bug-eyed looking housing, IMO not worth it. I have to see if I can hunt that down again. As for those lights, the more I see them the better they look. They definately suit the facelift hood much better, but I have a set of eyebrows lying around, so i could possibly offset that problem. How easy would HIDs be to put in there?

I am not sure if this has already been said but coming from a member who was one of the first, if not the first, to endeavour in ebay aftermarket lights...be sure to use some sort of extra protectant/cleaner each time you wash your car...i.e. Meguiar's PlastX. The plastic lens tends to scratch/get crappy after awhile. I am not a fan of the projectors...to me, they just dont fit the car.
Great job on the installation and nice pics...

Hey has anyone thought of installing a stock 90-93 W140 HID lens in their car. Looks almost identicle to our face lift models.

Hmmm maybe a retro-fit is possible for a pre 91 W124
