73 in a 45. I was hard on the brakes from about 90 when he got me. He wrote me up for 64 in a 45 so I didn't get reckless. First ticket on my bike.

when I was 18 years old (1986!) I got arrested in NorCal coming home from Sears Point Raceway on my GSXR 750. The ticket read 145 in a 55. That ticket and all the court costs totalled about $3300. Not my proudest moment.

I have had the E420 145 mph (on the speedo) and pulling like a freight train when I lifted. The car is chipped and doesn't have the electronic speed limiter, so who knows if would pull over 155.....I would love to find out, but I am a little old to go to jail or kill someone to find out. No tickets in the last 11 years though!!!

The OP asked what you've been clocked in your w124 not your bike!

I have been 122 mph in my W124. I am not sure how acurate it was because it was a GPS program. Not sure how much faster a 300E can go...

Best I could do, never been ticketed in my 400E. I regularly exceed 100mph on I-95, been to about 135mph max 8 or 10 times. Love to get to the 150mph limiter, just have never had the perfect opportunity. Feels rock solid at 135 and itching for more, just rather not get arrested, lol.

lots of cars
I pushed mine to 130 in lancaster going victorville on pearblossom hwy. I was totally alone on the road for like 10 miles and by myself in the car. I would NEVER put anyone at risk just so i could test the speed of my car.

I guess I grew up a bit before I got my Benz (fast driving not withstanding)...although my wife would strongly disagree.

Speaking of Connecticut......when I had my 1999 C280 I was driving home from my ex-girls house at like 2 in the morning on route 8. For those of you whom aren't familiar with the scenario, Rt. 8 is a two lane highway that is usually barren during the day, this was at night and not a soul was in sight. So I got the urge and thought about where the for the longest straightaway was......hmmm between exits 15 and 17 hehe. It was the greatest natural high I have ever experienced, the speedometer was between 145 and 150 Mph and the car felt like a cloud glued to the pavement. I still used both lanes around gentle curves though. I backed off when I went through a underpass and thought about what would happen if I hit the concrete . It was quite honestly insane but such a high!

Another speedy incident marked the end of my C280...I was clocked at 80mph in the police report (in a 35mph zone). It rolled, and was horrible. Wreckless driving is a criminal charge. I am so very lucky to have a reputable lawyer as an uncle. Ended up being set back for fines and court fees a mere $280.....coincedence? haha now I drive sanely.

I was clocked at 60 in 35 in my 129 but claimed a faulty speed sensor to get it knocked down to no points and I paid only court cost. I did go through a little trouble to do it but I have not had a ticket for 3 years and didn't want this to screwup any discount I had been given through my insurance agent. Oh and court cost are more than the ticket, but I feel it was worth it. I am now going on 5 years with no tickets. (fingers crossed)
