I don't think anyone knows what a Boschert Edition is - it's not a factory thing and it's not an AMG thing. It's a one-off. Strictly speaking, if it's in good condition, $4500 for a CE is a good deal, but with all the mods to it, it becomes a much, much harder sell. Therefore, it should be priced accordingly.

Is it a good buy? For the money, yes if the condition is there. Will you ever be able to sell it when you get tired of people laughing at you? Nope.

ten years ago people would have laughed, because it would be more of a case of someone who couldn't affors an SL trying act like they had one, but today i don't think that's really the case, since both cars are affordable...
for what it's worth, that's easily the best front end conversion i've seen. they usualy just slap a hood on, but this has the lights and everything.
personally i would buy that car, the price is great and it looks to be in good shape. the only thing that would worry me is the grey market status and if it can pass emissions and all that, but otherwise i think it's a great deal and i would buy it in a heartbeat
