Smoked Projector Euro Headlights For Sale

Not sure if this is the right place to post stuff for sale? Buy anyway here they are -- they are for the 1986 - 1993 w124 chassis only. They have the Osram Hypers and Osram Night Breakers on them for extra Lumens.

Looking good Lui. Did you ever get around to installing the eyebrows you purchased from me?

Also, what side markers are those? I like how they look.

Thanks -- I did, they looked pretty good but it turned out that I didn't need them with the lights because there was no gap to fill. Also, I never figured out what to use to attach them that wasn't permanent (was never sure absolutely that I liked the lights, so I wanted to be able to remove the eyebrows). Oh well, maybe I'll try to sell them on eBay. . . .

I got the side markers on eBay to match the rear smoked lights; I can't remember who I got them from, though. Maybe GTracers or someone like that.

Cheers,
Lui

I will sell them back to you if you want. Was it $30? - and by the way, did you get new wheels? They look great!

Yeah, thanks! I picked them up from RHW (another member here), but the w124 lugs are too long, as are the w210 lugs I picked up. The lugs lock on the rear parking brake so the rims had to go back into packaging until I can find what length lugs I need for them. Right now Bucky is back to 100% stock and busted -_-

I think it was 30$ or 35$, either way. Do you have more pictures of your car ?

I had fun trying to find a proper lug size swapping wheels.

I got a basic nut from a local tire store and threaded it onto my slightly long lug. Then on a bench grinder, I ground down 4-6 threads and rounded the new edge slightly. Back off the nut to feel drag or a mis-cut thread to correct. Took about 20 minutes.

Cheap custom.

No prob. about the wheels, they do look good. Too bad you can't keep them on. As far as the eyebrows, give me $35 and that will pay for shipping also - is that fair to you? As far as pictures, so far only the ones on eBay are the others that I have.

Lugs

Saijin_Naib I have after market wheels similar to your OEM wheels.
I had the same problem with lugs.
The lugs that work for me are 4.5cm long over all.
The actual thread is 2.5cm long.

Hope this helps!

Sure, sounds very fair Lui. I'll have to wait a bit on that, my one account is tapped at the moment, but I'll get back to you.

Also, thanks Shorebenz. I'll have to try that out. Is that safe to do? Is there enough lug left to properly hold everything in place?

No wheels flying off yet.
The hub is only about as thick as the thread is long. (if that makes any sense)
You just don't want to screw completely through the hub,
out the other side, & into the parking brake.

You can put Euro wipers on , but I don't think you can keep the orig. American ones.

P.S. Shorebenz your car looks great! The silver with those side markers and wheels goes very well together. What is the diameter of the rims if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you.
The wheels are 17x8.
There are no side markers, what you see is a Sportline badge.

Actually Villiv, those are the 94-95 model headlights as you can see by looking at the inside edge. They are curved to accommodate the facelift grille on the 94/95 cars and will look nice. If you look at Lui's photos of the lights on his car, you can see the "gap" that the eyebrow spoilers I sold him were supposed to be used to cover up since the pre-facelift hood does not curve.

Actually, they look like they will fit a 94-95, but they will not (it is really hard to tell from pictures). There is a curve made on the inside of the light assembly design for the hood, but the outer cover, i.e. the smoked lens, does not have the same indentation. It is made like the lens for the 1986-1993 w124 and is all one level from right to left. You can see this most clearly by following the line of the top corner for the front lens in the eBay closeup picture of the driver's side lens (not sure if this will get you there):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

Note how the top edge goes straight across and does not follow the indentation of the chrome inner housing surface. . . The eyebrows still fit and still looked good, however!

I thought they looked like 17's -- they are nice for sure.

haha, I guess I meant the front corners (blinkers?) that are clear look nice with the silver paint. My mistake!

Holy crap, sorry Lui, I could have SWORN that they were the 94-95 ones. That inner chrome is tricky :P Now, why didnt they design the inner chrome reflector to match the plastic of the lens?

If that is true, then I owe vili1982 and Saijin an apology. I thought that since there were no indentations on the lens that it would not fit. There are others similar to mine with indentations built in, I thought, which were the ones made for the 94-95 cars. I guess both will fit?
