Go with Yokohama or the Falken - they are very good tires and they are quiet.
I have Michelin PS on my car right now and I hate them and plus it doesn't make sense to spend that kind of money on tires for our cars imo ...

These are what I have now because the RE050A's were tooooo much $$$ but they are great, had them before too. Go with the RE760 sports, bridgestone knows how to make round tires and I doubt anyone else make a autocross style tire with a 340 tread wear

Thanks for recs guys...I went with the Yokos S-Drive. I am very very pleased and it has a very aggressive tread pattern....looks great on the car and they handle well and are whisper quiet. I would highly recommend them. For the record the Bridgeys 760 doesnt come in 215 45 17 otherwise I would have strongly considered them. I have the RE50A on my 911 and its probably one of the best tires I've ever had. I agree with Chris and have become more and more disenchanted with overpriced Michelin Pilots over the last few years.
I'll take pics of these tires on the car this weekend after I change out my spring pads...going with #1 in front and none in back like the master Chris Pham!

[QUOTE=ChrisDPham;3215273]It's not even the price of the Michelin Pilot's - its the darn thread wear! This year alone I've probably went through 2-3 rear sets of tires but damn they are good while they last.
Wow Cris, sounds like you've been having fun!
I'm sure I will be more gentle. Hey, I was upset to get less than 20k miles out of my Pirelli P Zero M/S.
The P Zeros were sticky, but hard to balance.
