I believe you are looking for this:

Zorro has one too which appears to not have any visible screws, making for a much cleaner look. Im not sure how he likes other people throwing up pictures of Enzo, but oh well.

I know its a dealer part, but I'm not sure of the part #. Hopefully he responds, because I plan on getting an AMG GenII front bumper soon and I want this piece to complete the look.

I don't understand why you have to wait for a PN from me. Go to the dealer, look at the exploded view of the front bumper, point to it and say "that."

Should be that simple and not ridiculous at the dealer. Worst case, buy it from them, write down the PN and return it and look for a cheaper one

Did they specify whether the part showed screws or not?

License plate delete panel is secured by four inset screws on the lower portion.

Yeah see, RBYCC, mine doesn't have the screw holes like yours but that's not to say my body guy didn't just fill the holes and paint them after install. It's much cleaner without them!

Screw holes would probably be good for me as in the OC front plates are required...

I just don't like the front end to resemble a vampire...

that first link that was posted was not a delete panel, it just fills in the space from euro-plate size to us-plate size, so the 'vampire' fangs are where you would bolt the bottom holes of your plate to and won't be visible...

I remember reading the picture thread a while ago and another person said the screwless version was rare. He said he had gotten a few delete panels over the years, and he got a screwless one once by chance, which is why I was curious what Zorro's P/N was.

Ive only gotten one ticket for not having a front plate in so-cal, and the cop stated to me:
"You clearly have a place to mount one, or I wouldnt be writing you this."

Which leads me to believe that if you dont have an obvious place to mount your plate, you won't be hassled too much. That's not to say they COULDN'T if they wanted to.

Never thought of that. It would seem obvious if the bracket was on...but no license plate. Did you get a "ticket with fine" or one of those "you gotta do it" tickets? Just curious.

The court that issued the ticket was very relaxed about it. I never got a court date in the mail, only a missed-court notification. I snapped a picture of it mounted, took in and the judge wrote it off with a $10 corrections fee. Normally I would assume the original ticket has to be signed off by the CHP or local police.

EDIT:

Ive since bought one of these:

and I plan to put it on if I ever end up getting my AMG GenII front bumper.

How much did yours cost?

Just pricing it out for now. I was wondering about the Swiftplate price. Is it motorized or manual?

I might look for a filler once I find out the swiftplate price.

Motorized = $150 and includes a remote key fob.

Manual = $60.

I have a manual version lying around here somewhere, but I'm not sure if I would rather just put a euro plate on the 500e or leave it stock.
