FS: Bilstein Lowering Front Shocks for w124's
Well like the title says I'm selling these shocks that I bought the summer of '06 to match with my terra lowering springs, I sold those springs back in the summer went back to stock springs and switched to Bilstein HD shocks. I purchased them on www.eshocks.com for $320 and will include the original receipt if you happen to question the lifetime warranty. Model # is V36-0365 . I'm only asking $225 shipped for the set. I have to make up from buying new flex disks. I also have stock tail lights for sale if interested. I don't have a computer at home anymore so please be patient on responses, Thanx!!!

HD is the heavy duty version of stock shocks and for stock height, Sport is for lowered cars and are reccomended for all lowering shocks. I'm not sure on the specs further on that but you can find plenty of information on this site if you use the search function that will tell you the differences.

Maybe 5k miles at the most...they were on there maybe 2-3 years but were removed and have been sitting the last 4 years. Low miles cause I've always had two other cars...work bucket car and of course a guy gotta have his truck. They were removed cause I couldn't tolerate the 2 1/2 inch drop spring ride I had anymore as you can see in my avatar pic.

The damping rates are virtually the same for both the HD and the Sport shocks, however, the sport shock's stroke is about an inch shorter than the HD shock. This is to prevent really short lowering springs from losing contact with the spring perches on suspension rebound (or simply jacking up the car). This means you can use the HDs on stock springs and moderate lowering springs, but if your suspension is really "slammed" you must use the Sports. Conversely, you should not use the Sport version with stock springs as the shocks may hit their maximum extension limits on suspension rebound. This could lead to a bad ride and potentially poor or unsafe handling. They are fine for high spring-rate lowering springs.
