lots of cars
Look close at the cladding, it's not the stock cladding because it doesn't have the chrome strip and has that line in the middle Also, didn't the 89 come with the trunk filler panel?

Don't believe the 89 had the trunk filler panel.
The lower cladding on the wide body had to be modified to match the wheel arch flare.
Could have been cut or heated to bend the panel...

Correct! Pre 1990 didn't have the chrome strips nor the trunk filler panel.
The flares on this particular car appear to have been done with a fender lip roller, which is also very good at flaring the fenders.
From the few pictures, it would seem that the majority of the flaring is near the center of the fender and not much work was put into the edges of the fender, probably wouldn't of needed much if any modifications to the bumper and/or lower body cladding in this case.

It is a 1989 model, so it came stock with the lower door panels. It has a full AMG body kit including rocker panels and Monoblock I wheels

The vehicle mentioned in this thread contains no custom parts btw, they are all off the shelf AMG parts. Most all of the Japanese AMG vehicles use all the same parts at the German made AMG's, I have yet to see any "custom" parts on a Japanese AMG.
I don't know much about the Galant but my understanding was that AMG did some limited tuning on that model.

that is very very nice, all the period parts I would'nt care if it wasn't real a AMG ,it's got a 6.0 V8!!!! and looks like a 300E, put on some stock wheels and decent tyres and you've got a real sleeper, and look at those seats ! but whats the price? 661?
