those wont allow me to run a strut tower brace.

they're bulky, not very attractive, and dont give me the same camber adjustment as other options would allow me to.

Interesting. I've not heard of any other w124 applications of any adjustable front camber plates. Never mind then.

ameen,

which coils did you get? model # wise from raceland?
Ive been trying to get some plates from ebay dealers but none of them want to help me out. Basically you'd need to measure the diameter of the bolts to the center of the mount like how bolt patterns are measured e.g.4x100 or 5x114.. etc. Then measure the disc diameter to see if it will mount flat securely under the strut tower.

All you have to do is shave off the bracket that is used for the brake line, and ditch the coil spring and only use the helper spring... unless you have some really low offset narrow wheels..
So you're saying we take out the spring they provide? Do they get in the way of the wheel?

The dust covers on my bilstein sports got chewed by my tires, I assume clearance is minimal.

So, does anyone know this diameter on a E36 coilover? Its quite interesting just in the know of how much you can lower your MB with E36 coilovers. I think a standard W124 shockabsorber is 42cm.

I'd be curious if anyone has tried the ones on ebay:

Definitively I will.

We have a forum here in Bangkok and most of our high performance w124 (V8engine swap) are running on R129 B8+R129Eibach. Also some of us adopt a balancing shock from W140 for their back which now we assume it is the best shock for w124.

I replaced my M103 with M104 3200cc from japan (the biggest engine they sold were 300E E280 back there in Thailand)
I already upgrade my braking with 4x44mm wilwood caliper and reduce my unsprung with 4.2Kg SSR Type-C 15' wheel (I don't mind the look just go for performance)
I have been looking for some alternative way to upgrade the suspension for my car until I found this thread ^^

Here in Bangkok I can buy w203 KIDO coilover at 900$ from private dealer but they don't provide W124
that's is why I have to go for DPS! which cost me 1000$
(sorry about my English)
I will get back with the result and picture asap.

cant register on that site, the translation isn't working properly, it asks 'what is 2 + 3, please answer a letter', and entering '5' doesn't work, and entering 'five' doesn't work either.

I thought it noteworthy that the earlier poster who did this "loved it" (on these boards) and then placed his car up for sale less than a month after the installation.

In March, he described his plan to build this car for a daily driver, installed the coilovers, loved them, and by end of March, he had offered this car for sale elsewhere.

I did not think that was a clean recommendation, not much time on the road etc.

ฺิBy the way I found a very very good review of DSP coilover here at MX-5 web
10-20 of them very please with the product and said it has the same standard as TEIN
They also discuss about the way to adjust the coil in detail.
http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopi...speed&start=60
I really wanna to put it in my car now hehehe

There's only one sinker for me which they haven't addressed yet... If you blow a shock, do you need to buy an entire replacement or like Tein, can you disassemble it and change only the shock absorber?

I couldn't tell that from their Ebay page...

Red face

One thing that am quiet worry about also is
Does w124 have enough clearance between the OEM shock and the wheel to fit the coilover???

Do those DPS guy actually fit their coilover to our car?
(sorry about my english)

I'm intersted as I might try these out.

PLEASE YOUR COMMENTS AND THOUGHTS....

maybe he will offer a group buy for us if we like them...
