Looks like the dealership does not sell them separately. You must buy the pad set...
Will it be OK running without?

Sounds like a great upgrade, I'm glad I didn't get rid of my calipers.

Can you tell me your rotor width next time you have your wheels off?

22mm rotor for the 92 caliper. 25mm rotors for the 93+ caliper. I have the 22mm.

So do I on my coupe but my slotted rotors are over 22mm and I get scraping. I may need to clean out the area behind the pads but the pads don't separate from the rotor. Did you end up w/o shims?

I have a loose pair of calipers from a 93 but they are identical to my 90 coupe so they are before the mid-year change. I'll put these on my wagon...

I had to compress the piston all the way back to fit it in, but it fit without any issues.
I used shims yes

Question: Will the 25mm rotors from a 93 e320 clear the LCAs on a 1989-92 300e?

I finally noticed the min marking on the rotor edge which verify I have the 25mm wide and I need the 22mm. What disturbs me is I already measure near min thickness at 22.21 which is just enough to scrape. This may also be the difference of just clearing the ball joint on the '93+ LCA. 3mm is only 0.12" but must have some reasoning behind it. I was told another way to tell the difference between the narrow and wide caliper are the retainer, where the wider one has notches:
