The W124 in ACTION - Pics & Movie

Here's a movie (sorry about the size) and some really cool pics of the 300E "in action."

Enjoy and let me know what you think of this one too! The movie should be well worth the wait time.

One of my buddies in high school had a Chevy Caprice that was an ex-Illinois state police car (the Bluesmobile). I have a video very similar to yours of smoky burnouts and donuts in that car

W124
I've always wondered why the W124 never had a limited slip differential. Does anyone sell one? It would handle sooo much better with one. (don't talk about ASR either, that's a cop out)

yea, true, the engine and tranny did take a little beating, but it wasn't too bad. I think the engine was bein pushed more than the tranny here.

True and this movie wasn't too much drifting. We made a pretty stinky movie (it was at night) and you couldn't see anything. That was nothing but drifting. I was gonna attach that one onto this, but thats ok.

Thats all the screwing around I'm gonna do. Now that my car is being worked on (new tires, etc...) I'm just going to enjoy the normal ride.

It looked like you were going to hit that pole a few times! You should check your driveshaft flex discs too, they're probably about to let loose after all that stress.

Ok, I'll ask my mechanic to check that out too. I think he should have notice the large amounts of rubber caked onto the rear wheel well !

Regarding that pole...

Yea I was close. I think the movie makes it look a little closer though. I do remember one time I was worried I would hit it, but I was aware of its position during all the fun! don't want any body damage !

Thanks for the info.
