Hey Marques. I have not started the swap but you are correct that it is a front sump. I was speaking with a guy overseas that did the swap in a w123, but its been a while now. Unfortunately, front suspension and cooling issues are preventing me from starting. Cooling issue is already worked out, now the suspension. But please keep me updated. Not alot of info. I will help with whatever way I can. As far as wiring I spoken with Chase Bay and Tweaked and if I had to pick, I would go with Tweaked although It does not seem that difficult wiring up the two. I have been looking for the pin outs for my 4.2 v8, but haven't seen one.

Cool, I just received the brackets from thailand yesterday. They also sent me the wiring diagram, unfortunately I can't read it. This will be a long and slow process for me. I can only get to the car every other weekend because the car is at my parents house. Next on the agenda is the engine. I am leaning on the 1jzgte vvti...another 3-4 months. I'll keep you updated.

Dude I understand. The pinouts for the 1/2jz are scattered on the web between Supramania and another site that I can't recall at the moment. Its the Mercedes side that I have no info on unfortunately. I did my first major swap 3 years ago JDM H22A to 93 Accord. Swap took over a year due to only working on it maybe 4hrs/week and also breaking foot. As far as engine, I thought about the 1jz, however because I am looking at about 400whp, I figure it is easier to go with the Aristo 2jz and do bpu's. Can't lose with either one. Please keep me updated.

I am using Ks racing engine mounts from Thailand. (EBAY) It cost me $350 shipped to the states. my plan with the ecu is to send it to tweak performance. At the moment the project is on hold. I went through arbitration in small claims court with my mechanic. He was paying me monthly but stop paying. I got a judgement on him and will try to collect by putting a lien on one of his cars. I will probably start working on the car next year when I get my tax return.

I would love to do this swap to my 300E, but I would like to have the 6-speed manual transmission swap.

Exclamation W124 2JZ Swap!

I would like to know everything it would take to do this swap. Would the shifter be in the right place if I used the 6-speed Getrag trans from Supra? Did you have to use a higher performance rear diff? What wires did you have to change on the harness, and what guages are you using in the dash?

Hey bro, I just got my 2jz and 300ce ready to go

You have heaps of info all I wanted to ask Is
-what ecu are you running? I'm thinking to go HKS f-con as for 2jz it's the best ecu but how do you work with the merc side of things
-what tail shaft did you go for?
- your running a factory auto box on that power? :|

- I got a t67 on my un opened motor in a stagea made 400kw ( 536hp) on 25psi the rule is its 15kw (20hp) per psi so do t know how you thinking to get 800hp ( 596kw ) on 30psi .... I had a r33 s2 skyline on 390kw (512hp) and I had problems with chase bending after a 6 months

So just saying you should to see more than 650hp out of that turbo, if I was you I would invest into a t51r for that power and defiantly need at least a turbo 400 4speed gearbox because your box will go as soon as you put some good tyres on it.

I had aristo and chasers before and them gearboxes give up after 330kw ( 440hp)

I'm doing most my self and did a 1jz into a e30 before and that was a nightmare plus the mounts came in that are totally wrong holes and had to re drill them

im actually doing this 2jz swap after my c36 conversion tanked out.wiring this beast was the most difficult aspect of the swap, other than that you should be fine. The ebay conversion mounts are fine but if your pushing or 450 + horsepower they will break on you.THERE REALY NOT NEEDED.You can use the supra mounts and just notch the mounting points on the lower frame rail.

Didnt know this thread was still alive!!! lol Im back I went over to the cl65 world! But I just bought a 95 300ce today but keeping it stock lol. But im here to answer any questions about that swap!!!! P.S. The reason i scraped the build was because these cars cant hold a tire in the rear and for what i was going for i would have killed myself!!! Unless you tub the rear of this car i suggest you stay in the 400hp range!

Hey, man. I'm planning on doing the same swap with my '84 w123 300D in the near future. The engine is way under powered and sounds like a beat up tank. What are your thoughts about it? Thanks heaps!

ok two piece it is...I just read your post
" i made the mistake and had a 1 piece driveshaft made. i should have kept the 2 piece drive shaft. it doesnt sit straight from tranny to diff. so it vibrated so bad it broke. "
