PLEASE HELP ME!
So he said basically make a list starting with 1 being the upgrade i would want the most and he said price doesn't matter just put it anyways. I know this doesn't mean he will buy me whatever is first on the list, but who knows.
I have about $1500-$2000 that i am willing to spend on the car, and he is willing to buy me an upgrade or two i hope. With my $2000 i am looking at new rims (17x7.5), lowering kit, and custom suspension. Then depending on how much i have left im going to get exhaust tips, K&N filter, mesh under headlights, window tint, kind of small upgrades like that.
So excluding Eibach springs, custom rims, and the other stuff i mentioned, what should i ask for? My Dad also wanted the price of all the upgrades i am interested in getting, just so he had an idea of what it would cost.
THIS IS WHAT I WILL PUT SO FAR:
1) Mosselman Twin Turbo Kit (whats the price of a used one?)(After installation and any new parts i possibly need?)
2) MagnaFlow exhaust system ($1000??)
That is all i know i will put on this list so far. Any other ideas PLEASE post them.
Thanks guys
The rest of the mods are good except mesh under the lights IMO.
I'd do drop, 18x8's, exhaust and euro headlights to start. Paint the car all one color too, if it's two toned.
1. You don't need a turbo
2. You're wasting your money on an exhaust
Roll your fenders, keep it clean, waxed, and have fun with it. Remember, NO ONE CARES about what you drive except yourself.
Any other ideas on performance though? Im going to handle the exterior stuff with my own money, so i just need 2 performance parts my dad can MAYBE buy.
So if anyone has any good ideas on performance parts that arnt too expensive please let me know. =)
Might ask him for magnaflow exhaust system (8 hp hopefully). Then maybe another performance upgrade?
Go with the tried and true -- Euro Headlights, 18x8/17x7.5, Roll fenders, Bilstein sports, H&R/Eibach springs, swaybars. Save the rest for maintenance. I don't believe EVERYTHING works on that car and ALL maintenance is thoroughly completed. Spend your money on cosmetics. Research proper detailing and perfect your paint to a mirror shine. Paint cleaner, claybar, compound (if needed), polish, wax etc..
Not sure if your 2.8L got the 4pot fixed calipers or the earlier sliding calipers, but maybe upgrade that. It should satisfy your urge to "mod" and at the same time give better stopping power for safety. Check my thread if you want pics and info on it.

slightly more drop than the Eibachs...
I have both, like both but the lower drop looks a bit better.
I'd trade audio for exhaust in your budget.

May I add that the fifteen year old needs to stop with his new threads that keep on asking the same tired questions, because he thinks he'll finally hear what he wants...

Why encourage him, he doesn't listen and he rides a school bus...and a short yellow one at that...

I did 32 hours of class instruction and 14 hours of in car instruction when i got my permit. And i happen to be a great driver.
Mercedes has 24/7 roadside assistance, so why waste money on hands free bluetooth with 911 on it? And also i have a garmin GPS system. Thanks again though.
And i dont ever plan on getting a tatoo. I think that covers just about everything you mentioned that i should "GET".
A Life

Glad you know where the first aid kit is though, you will need quick access to it.
Great driver? You ever been on a track? you ever been out of the driveway?

When you get back... start an entry level job and realize that after paying all the bills, $2k is a lot of ****ing money and laugh at yourself for thinking you ever wanted to waste it on an "exhaust system".
Then... when you're in your mid-thirties, and the old mercedes is a rusted scraped heap in a junk yard, look back on the prime of your life and think "man I REALLY lived it!".
Oh yeah... nothing lamer than modding a car you don't own with money that is not yours.

The first few times, this is much more dangerous than it sounds:
