rotating worn rear tires

I just noticed that the inside of the rear wheels is wearing faster than the rest. The tires are wearing down to the marker bars, but still have some time before being replaced. I took it over to pepboys to get the tires rotated and he said he cant do it because if he puts the tires in the front it will cause too much radial pull. question - can I still rotate them or will rotating the worn tires on the inside to the front be a safety issue?

Also, any good places for a rear camber kit? these aren't adjustable, but has anybody tried them?

Thanks

If it is not directional tires, un-mount the tires from the wheels and mount it in reverse. Meaning the tires outer side turn into the inner side. If they are directional tires you install the right tires to the left and left to the right after reverse mounting the tires. So, the directional pattern stays on the same direction. This will even out your tire wear. But, this is not the solution to your uneven tire wear problem.

PB Blaster should loosen it up.

I also suggest swapping the tires from left to right. IE: Swapping tires from rim to rim, not wheels from side to side. Or for the same effect, flip the tire around on the same wheel and mount it on the other side.

This standard tire rotation direction will not even-out the OP's inner wear problem. The inner side of the tires would remain in the same location whether it is installed in front, rear, left or right.

That's true if the problem is intrinsic with the tire. Otherwise, the problem can be spread among the tires to evenly wear them out until the problem with that car corner is diagnosed and fixed.

Instead of going through the trouble to remount the tire, the effort is better spent on diagnosing the problem. I measure camber at home by using a modified level. Toe-in is also measured at home - the procedure is widely available on the internet.
