oh lets just hope she gets completed soon :S this never-ending battle of repairing things seem to be eating my wallet... and my moms rage doesn't stop

Computer Chip Upgrade for my '91 300e
Hey there! I apologize ahead of time for this question being off the topic. I'm new to your forum but I've owned my E class for over six years. Hopefully I can get some advice from those in the know. My 91' has been driven occasionally , only about 2000-2500 miles per year within the last two years. I'm now at the point that I'd like to upgrade the performance , but I know I'm limited at what can be expected out of the sohc M103 engine.My question is this: Would it be worth investing in one of the aftermarket performance chips ? I'd be thrilled if this car could make 225-250 horsepower, within a reasonable amount of time and expense. The car was my late grandfathers' so it's not easy to sell it for an out of the box hot rod like the 500E/E500. Any advice?

im sorry for the very late reply, those are 19's 8.5 front 225/35/19 and 9.5 rear 255/30/19
bought a gauge ring and installed it today ( i love how it looks )
i just installed and detailed it by myself ( its hard to do it )
installed also orig 124 rear door sun shade ( i really dont know how to call it ) thanks to my bro obetski for this

got it used for $300 pair, in dubai sir. actually it came from my brother (obetski) and he is the one who ordered it.
