Hi to all! I'm new to this forum. This is my fairly standard 1989 260E. It has no modifications at all, except for the audio head unit and speakers which were installed by the 1st and previous owner. Alot of stuff has been done since my 4-5 weeks of ownership, although mostly minor ones.

They are tsw holsten wheels not sure if they are being produced anymore, very similar to Audi A8 monoblocks.

Thanks, but I must be frank that in person the car looks very far from brand-new! Alot of cracked leather, faded paint, etc etc after being neglected by the previous owner (the car only has 28+++ original miles, that's how much it's neglected. always parked outside in the sun/rain )

I do hope to bring this thing back to life somehow, seeing all your lovely W124s really inspire me

sorry everyone for late ,this my car and few things that i done by my own hand.
The problem is our country doesn't have as u have to do good things in cars
specially engines and paint is the worst.Photos taken by mobile.
But i need your comment F U Dnt Mind....

 

Paint the chrome grille surround and mesh black and get rid of the cheap looking chrome pieces on the mirrors and door handles....

Here's my old mesh grille painted black with similar lights as yours to give you an idea...

 

Nice color.

 

Maybe re-do the mesh before repainting...
With a different style rather than just drilled holes maybe?

Its a genuine AMG Gen II front bumper...the fogs are old Piaas that I have since replaced with other slightly larger HID ones...

 

Hi Guys,

I just got my new baby last night.
What makes her beautiful is the fact that the old owner (now I am the owner ) is Parts Manager for MB. The E420 is only with 75800 miles. This is very low for 1994. If you do your maths this is 5000 miles per year.
The white paint is like new, the gloss is beautiful. I picked her one day later because the guy didn't want to take her out of the garage because it was raining.

I know that sounds crazy but the car still smell new in the inside.
I am so happy. It took me over 3 months to make him sell it to me, but now I GOT HER

I've paid top money for it but hey....there is only one W124.

 

I was browsing around the NET and I came across this web page.
