Tragic, in a way. I hate to see another Cabrio bite the dust. But I guess there's a circle of life for cars too. Out of this may come longer life for other Cabriolets.

Your right it is unfortunate, but unfortunately the way the car stands it's worth more in parts than as a driver.

A fate, I'm afraid, that ultimately awaits most of these fine automobiles.

Sorry to hear. Cab parts are hard to find and in many cases $$$. If you remove your hydraulic cylinders and other related parts I am sure someone will jump on them.

M104.980 right Joe? What does your EZL look like? Part #/Photo would be good.

What kit is that that on the car? It is pretty nice.

Brett,
IT's a 104.992. I'm guessing it will be different?
The kit is a Wald V4.

I doubt I can afford it, but a price on the wald kit might be good (because I'm sure others are interested at least).

The EZLs compatible with my car have gone through 2 newer additions since mine, and those part numbers are:
013-545-83-32 -> 016-545-04-32 (latest)

If you have either of those two, I might be interested. I don't know what they changed but I'm assuming it was important.

Sorry to hear about the CAB partout Joe. I don't need anything for mine at the moment, however once the other needy people finish picking, let me know what is leftover and maybe I will take the whole thing then.
Cheers, Mike

Joef,

I just ordered all kinds of parts from Mercedes Clasic Center. Sorry to hear of your Partout, but wish I had heard of it earlier. How about all the top hydrolics, are they working good? Also what about the interior wood trim, what radio do you have? Interior wood trim and center arm console> PM me please and include pics if you can.

Thanks! Dennis

Forgot, what about the switches for the automatic seatbelt extenders and seatbelt receivers in the rear. My passenger side does not extend when the door is opened.
