Whats your Opinions - Wheel Change CE300

Hi Guys
Listen going to throw an idea up for comment opinion yes/no why or why not !

As you might recall I am planning on buying this dark blue CE300 (picture 1).

On the wheel side of things it has Ergon 17x7.5 E Class Wheels fitted
see picture 2.

Now I have a chance to buy some quite rare BBS Brabus 16x8 wheels very reasonably priced (see pictures 3 4 5)

What do you guys think of the potential wheel change. The offset factor and according to the definitive fitment guide on the forum the 16x8 PCD5x112 ET325 shoulf fit okay I believe. (Not sure about the PCD can anyone confirm this is correct for the CE300 ?)

Thanks for your input

5x112 is correct ET32 should be no problem as long as you use a tire that matches the measured rim width.

From pure aesthetics, I think the mesh brabus will look kind of cool

I think the 17s are nice and you should keep them as the car looks great with them. Not saying you shouldn't buy the Brabus's just to have them..

That color coupe...is going to look great both ways. You have real nice wheel choices...I am with CTE, I'd buy the Brabus, but I'd run down the tires on the Ergons first.

DANG BLAST FAKE WHEELS

Oh Man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Bart Simpson whine)

Those Brabus turned out to be chinese fakes.

They have JWL marks on them which my resources tell me Brabus do not have as they are not manufactured in Japan and therefore Brabus do not need to seek such approval !

Oh well they were 16's after all

By the by I must admit to veing confused about what the standard ET for the 88 300CE was, what you can put on to replace before needing spaces and what effect spaces have on the scheme of things.

ANyone who can enlighten me it would be very much appreciated
Cheers

Depends on the day
i still wouldn't mind running those mesh wheels........

besides, the same company (jwl) made aftermarket bundt wheels for the older w123 series. you find many of them with jap wheels. and they're not that bad of quality
