20" s55 wheels?
At the very least, assuming the ET is good (which I have no idea of) you're gonna have to run a ridiculously thin sidewall. The overall size diameter of the tire needs to stay as close as possible to stock.
Now the 20" part....too big in my opinion and with 30 profile your ride will be compromised.
You will need to roll the fenders and install spacers on the front fenders and if you are lucky you will get them in but the rear 9.5...fender flares?
Hope someone who has done this will chime in.
The fronts are 8.5 with an offset of 31 and they're killing me. And I've rolled my fenders.
A tire sidewall width of 20 will essentially make your ride so that you can tell if the quarter you've run over was heads or tails.
Look, you wanna try, try. None of us can stop you. But I'm telling you, I don't think it'll work. Not to mention that your tires will look small on the rims, very little rubber. Some like that look, but I don't.
Post pics of the rims, too. I don't know what they look like.

My tires exceeds the fender width by about a centimeter. :P
I'm taking it in to the bodyshop in a couple of weeks to flare my fenders. After that, I'm getting stiffer shocks and springs. It should be fine then.
If not, I will shoot myself. :P

Shoomaken, I had a residual rubbing issue a few years ago after rolling fenders and a few contortions...tightening suspension alone solved it, had a worn bushing in the rear. Maybe try that before the fender flare work.
But like I said, the tires exceed the fender width slightly, so if the car is loaded and I take a corner, it'll still rub, stiffer suspension or not.
My goal is to have 4 people in the car doing whatever I want and it NOT rubbing no matter what. I feel the only way to achieve that is by doing both suspension and flaring. And like I said, if that doesn't work, I'll shoot myself. :P
I fabricated the spacers from teflon round stock..cut to thickness and drilled the center screw hole..

I know what to do, it's just annoying that I didn't think of all this before I bought the damn things.
I've definitely learned my lesson.
I actually own a machine shop, so I can do all the fabrication in house. Now who wants to come over and give me a hand?
