If you are buying an E420, this is the one.
I can confirm that the current owner is a W124 "guru"
I am sure that it will be all he says it is.
You can buy a cheaper E420, but this the best value.

Agree, if I were inclined towards a V8, AMGDave would be my #1 trusted seller. It aint just the items he has sold me, and it aint just the time he has spent helping me on the phone with my own issues. And it aint that I hear from so many others that he gives of his time to help them.
It IS the fact that NO person who is as generous and fair-minded as Dave has demonstrated for years, is also, a sneaky, snake in the grass seller. The two attributes are incompatible.
Knowing the real current condition of one of these cars is worth $1-$2 thousand dollars, easy. And knowing it was hand selected for his flock, which is why you would get HEATED ORTHO seats (better than sportline recaros) and ASR without effort, also adds up to a smarter buying experience.
If it were a wagon or coupe, I'd be emailing him, not posting here.

Thanks, guys! For the record, this car was my wife's daily driver for a couple of years... we ended up finding another one in silver which she liked better, so that became the daily driver instead. The silver one doesn't have the ortho seats, and I've been soooo tempted to swap the orthos from the black car into the silver one! Hmmmm....
