Car is running bad ... NEED HELP (VIDEO)

This seems to happen when my car is not fully warmed up. When I'm going 30-40 MPH, it won't go any faster when I step on the gas and the RPM just goes crazy. When I hit 60 MPH and i want to go faster on 4th gear, the RPM reaches 3000 and it takes forever to go faster.
Before all these things happened, my car was leaking oil. I made an appointment with my local Benz dealer but it's scheduled in the mid January. So i went to a shop to get an oil + filter change and transmission fluid + filter change. Now my car is leaking more than before, but i can't really tell if it's oil or transmission fluid. And now, my car is running bad ... anyone know what is wrong?

Does this problem go away when the car is completely warmed up? Does it do it when its stone cold?

Oil Leak

Surprised you didnt have them check for the oil leak when you took the car in for the fluid changes. Transmission fluid would be a redish color and your motor oil would be a black to a blackish brown.

Before it did ... but starting from yesterday, the problem stays even if the car is fully warmed up.

I did ask them to check out the leak, but all they told me is that it's leaking from 2 lines by the front sway bar because they see oil on it. But oil was ALWAYS there even before it started leaking, so i don't believe them. There's oil on my sway bar so does it mean my sway bar is where the oil is leaking from? I guess i'll have to see what my local Benz stealer will tell me.

I am feeling like its an ignition or computer sensor. I am not real versed on the EFI on our cars yet but a bad Throttle position sensor or MAf sensor could cause but a scan tool is really needed to keep from guessing. I just don't feel like you have a MAJOR problem its just chasing it.

Is the oil motor oil or Tranny fluid? The transmission cooling lines run right by there. My wife's Grand Cherokee started leaking in a line connection at 32,000 miles.

When they did your trans fluid change, do you know if they drained the torque convertor also? There is a small drain bolt on the torque convertor. Please check your trans fluid level per your owners manual and add/drain as needed. That's were I would start first.

The MAF sensor was replaced just about 3 months ago. I think it's tranny fluid because it's kind of redish color.

They did not drain the torque convertor. Therefore they overfilled the new fluid. But they checked the fluid level and it was too much so they drained the excessive fluid. I tried checking the fluid level myself but NOTHING is showing on my dipstick, not even a drip of fluid, so i don't know what is up.

Well if there in no tranny fluid on the dipstick I would say that is your problem all in one. It can't get enough friction on the bands with no fluid. Remember Tranny fluid is hydrulic fluid, so there is no internal pressure when the fluid is severly low = no pressure on the band packs.

I brought the car to my local Benz dealer ...
They quoted me $4500 to replace the transmission because it's leaking badly

They said they don't recommend to fix it due to the mileage of 80,000 .......

WOW I'm speechless .....
I'm picking up the car tomorrow morning and bringing it to this independent Benz mechanic in Brooklyn, NY ..... never been there before but i'll give it a try.

forgot to mention i still have to pay $150+tax for diagnostic fees.

Hopefully it runs great, and doesnt fall apart anytime soon. I was thinking it could be a cam position sensor, but I dont know if those cars have them. The CPS is a big problem on Powerstroke diesels like my truck.
