W210: safest car

Number came out from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. This probably explain why W210 owner ususally enjoy lower insurance cost.

I think the #'s for the Cadillac's are from owners being shot rather than dying from a crash.

Plus old farts that drive Cadillacs and S-class are more fragile and more likely to die in a crash.

I thought it was just me when i got my car and add to my insurance policy, it was hard for me to believe how low my full coverage is, I thought it was gonna be high. Kudos Mercedes!

Same here. My full coverage on my E320 yr 2000 was alot lower than I anticipated.

Mine is $200 than when I had the GS300. And my W211 is even lower (by another $100).

The insurance costs (full coverage) on my W210 E320 were also lower than my new TL. Surprising to see this information. I'm kind of bumbed I dont have the W210 anymore since I now have an E350 but nevertheless I still feel damn safe in that car as well.
