window passenger side broke

Help!

I clicked on my rear left passenger side window button to put it back up, and it fell down in between the slots, completely under the door line!

The motor is fine as when I push the button I hear it,did it come off the track or?..

Known fault

Your problem is probably the rear window regulator, a known fault in W210.
Search this forum.
The short answer: It needs to be replace.

Indeed. Happened to me three weeks ago, right rear window. There was a crunch, and some more crunching sounds. Replaced the assembly.

window regulator has to be replaced. Like Fat said, its a common problem with W210.

57,000 miles on the W210 and I've had to do driver's and passenger rear window regulators. At about $550 for p&l, it's a royal pain!

FYI - do a search on this subject as I believe there are step by step instructions given by another member who repaired this themselves...
I believe the part was less then $100.00...

Iordered a regulator from the advised shop..77 bucks shipped!..my Custom Porsche guy here in Elgin IL will put it in for 50 BUCKS!!

Happened to me

Both my rear windows went out within a few months of each other. Once when I was 40 minutes from home in Miami and it almost started rainining. My extended warranty fully covered it. Minus my $100 deductible.
