my new fender :(
i love it 
i had such a bad day yesterday to start off with i got a parking ticket, i then got pulled over but didn't get a ticket, i got yelled at by my parents for 5 hours, and then later in the day my neighboor backed into me while my car was parked infront of my house. trust me the parktronic bumpers are not cheap. and lastly i did really poorly on my mid terms....i'm just so bumed right now i felt like posting

Assuming that the headlight mount isn't cracked, the repair cost will probably be around $1,200. It will probably be cheaper to replace the fender than try to straighten it. Good luck on getting the neighbor to pay.

The issue is when the insurance company realizes what the cost is they may try to reduce their costs. The fender needs to be replaced - cost the same as trying to straighten it. The bumper needs to be repainted. The corner light may also need to be replaced. The desert silver color is metalic and clearcoated. The mirror and trim on the fender and front door will be removed. The fender will be painted and the paint feathered back over half of the front door. The bumper, fender, and front door will be clearcoated and the mirror and trim replaced. If this process isn't followed, the fender will look different than the front door. Since there is paint involved, any overspray should be removed. This is a lot of work and the insurance company may have a problem with this.

Ouch! Anyway, from the pics I don't think there's going to be any "parktronic bumper" damage. Even if there is, you only need to replace/repair the impact strips unless a sensor was damaged - the sensors are removable. So if you have a damaged sensor, you might be able to just replace the damaged sensors separately.

the bumper is scatched. the amber clear corner has paint on it and also the chrome is also scatched...also now my parktronic is messed up. it doesn't sence anymore....and it just beeps all the time then just shuts off after like 2 minutes....if i push the button it will come on at any speed and beep

dude dont report to insurance, trust me. Get a OEM fender and have a body shop paint it and throw that new bad boy on. If your headlights are damaged put some Depos or something. Charge your neighbor all the costs, it wont end up costing more than $600.00 i gurantee you. If you need a fender for cheap, go on Ebay, they sell OEM ones.

above statment is true...BUT......you have to tack on the 200 removal, 200 replacment, 40/h labor....=1500ish
and this wont be paid with insurance probrably...but i'm not paying so i'm not woried

ok well i got the check a few days ago, they paid 1600...time to set up an appointment with the body shop....i pray to got the job gets done well and there are no hickups

Lighting Unit E320
If the lens is broken on the lighting unit E-320 Year 2000 is there a replacement part? The lights works but the lens is cracked. The only part list for that area is the complete lighting unit.

i know how feel man, a guy ran into the side of my side fender and it looks almsot like yorus, he hit me wit a bike wow..now i need to get my fender fixed also...
also guy jsut thought i would ask...waht would be the easiset way to lower my car? i'm thinkng maybe an inch and a half, should i juss switch pads?
or will i have to buy new spring? eibatchi good?
