Went LED crazy: Nice or Rice?
With some help from fellow MBHK members, LED mood lights in footwell and LED super white door puddle lights (all 4)
. LED underskirt puddle lites (ala Brabus) to come, and possibly the super white LEDs on the ceiling......
N.B. These do fade out together with the other interior lights.

Well...
Are the lights in the rear aswell ?
If the lights are not to bright..
and
If the color match some luminated dor sils..
then it could be nice..
But its hard to see om the pictures..
The underskift lights.. would be to rice ..

Hmmm, I dun have illuminated sills, so wudnt know but I would guess they are more blue than the sills. I did have a choice of White, Green, Red, Amber and Blue

Point taken and totally respect the opinion - that's why the title is the way it is......To each their own but in a town where every man and his dog has a benz, especially the W210, its plain dull to be too conservative........

Dave..those weird shots of the puddle lites are one thing, but your rims looks hot from those angles..the previous pics didn't do you justice..Love the phat lip and the drop! Looks great!

Can't believe you finally pulled the trigger on the LED puddle lites :p 
I still got the LEDs on my E, I should rip them out and send them to you...hell, I don't need them, I'm sure you'll find a good spot for them.

4 on the C, 5 on the E and large sedans.
btw, I had puddle lights which I bought from a forum member on mbklasse. Homemade. The kit was complete and well put together, but the quality was not good. After I drilled my skirts, wired it all up and put the skirt back, a couple of the led's burned out b/c of the poor quality (the prongs at the base of the LEd bent, which was fine, but cut through the shrink tube and short cutted. Whack).

It really depends on the manufacturer. I think Brabus and Ventuno uses 5 for the E (Rich had 5). Mine's a generic one so it has to be less for coupes...I think I can wire up another if I buy another set of 4 LEDs and take out two of em...but that would be adding to the cost
