Just bought a 2k E430!
Noob here! Great site, been lurking a while...
Bear with me, I'm sure to have lot's of questions.
I pulled an oil sample tonite to send to Blackstone, not sure how many miles are on the current oil, (or what it is?). I'm going to go ahead and change it anyway. I guess I'll use M1 0w40 and fleece filter? I'm southeast Texas, near Galveston.

Thanks guys!
I'm changing the oil this weekend, (still looking for the wrench, local MB dealer did not have them..). Picked up 8 qts M1 last nite. I'm a boat owner, so I already have an oil sucker.

We've been through a 20' Reinell 200LS with a 305 stock for 2 years and most recently a 25' Nordic Rage with a 496HO. Both were a blast, especially the Nordic going to Havasu and romping on Lake Powell. I never took it in the big blue though, shame on me.
We are boatless now for awhile as my wife and daughter have migrated from boating to horses, taking the throw around money with them.
I will have another boat someday, besides, I've got friends all over the place that still have their boat!

Benzalot, thanks! We were on the island last night, at Playa Del Oro on the west end. Love it down there. Our best friends live on Lake Madeline, we go down by boat from Clear Lake a lot...

I recieved the tranny fluid and all the parts to change it yesterday. I found the MB tranny fluid Z80001-107773 for under eight bucks a liter... Here's some more pics...
