I need a cigar/cigarette lighter
I need a replacement. Anyone have one they'd like to sell, or point me in the right direction? I see a couple on ebay, but not sure if the part is model/year dependant on these cars.

Why are you going thru this with a very inexpensive part. You do not make any sense. Go to a dealer tell them what you need and buy it!!

What makes you think its double the price?? All MB (and other make) parts must go thru a dealer anyway unless its an aftermarket part. You must have too much time on your hands to go thru this to save maybe a buck and most likely end up with a defective or used part.
