No problems other than stock wheels flacking?

Aren't you in the wrong forum? You have a W211. This is the W210 forum.

Or am I missing something.

151k

Fluid changes, motor mounts, cps sensor, brakes, and o2 sensors.

Normal 100k maintenance.

I have a power washer and get underneath to try and prevent rusting once a week on the components underside. Seems to be going well.

Always starts up everyday and keeps driving strong!

4matico -- was the inline 6 installed in '99 E series cars in Canada? Not the V6? That's what we have down here in the US.

Opps, forgot to delete that line when I copied the info. We have all V6's in canada.

Either should be fine, but if your goal is zero wheel gap you're going to have to cut a coil whichever way you go.

99 e320 4matic 118,000

Year : 1999
Model : E320 4Matic Sedan
Milage : 118,000 miles
Country : USA
Major problems : Lots - recently the water pump, belt tensioner, rotors (again and again), both rear light assemblies, control arms, etc... (regular stuff also like plugs, fluids, tires, brakes, etc...)

Starting to wonder if this car is a money pit or a keeper. I just paid it off in August (bought used 6 yrs ago), and now instead of $337 a month pmt, I seem to have a $1200 every 3 months repair bill.
On the flip side, it drives great - much better than a brand new american car that I get when I rent one on vacation. I love that car and hope I can keep it, I've loved Benz's since I was a kid (lucky to grow up in a used car dealers family and we had lots of cars like that around).
On the flip flip side, I am thinking about just dumping it and finally pony up for a CLK Cabrio 430 or 55 which I've been dying for for years now.

Still running great

1999 Mercedes Benz E430
214,200 miles
USA
I recently got a high milage award from Mercedes Benz.

I must say that the only problem that I have had with my E430 is the A/C fan going out, and I had some radiator hoses replaced also. I also had the motor mounts replaced in 2005. I purchased this car from my local Benz dealer in the year 2000 and it had 4,000 miles on it. I must say, I have been nothing but pleased with this car over the years.

4k or 40k? anyways WoW. Good to hear. there is a reason that the w210 was/is the best selling Benz of all time and they went to crap after that...not knocking them, I would have done the same thing money/business wise, but non=the=less. Yeah man, that's what I like to hear. I've been contemplating this and that for my next car but after re-assurence like this I'm going to have to say that I'm leaning more twards another 99 w210 (switch it up a bit as far as color/int) but thanks for beating my inner beliefs and feelings back into sensability.

Your welcome. Yes, I purchased the car in 2000 with 4,000 miles on it. I did alot of highway driving back and forth to college and across country. My exterior color is bourdeax, and my interior color in Java. I just always get my cars serviced on time. The paint is still great on my E430 and everything, lol. People just don't believe me when I tell them its a 1999. I hope to enjoy this car even more in the future.

Ha ha, so I see you know exactly what I mean about people and the years of our cars. Yeah I got the S600 a little over 2 years ago, but my E430 is my first Benz. My grandfather still has his E430 also, he has 100k miles. Yeah, I hope my E430 has a smooth trip to that many miles(300k miles). Your welcome about the confirmation, I just try to give a little info when I can. You take care also.

Hi Guys, i currently drive the Beast E63 amg which i love. But i kept my 2000 e430 which was my first merc. I had the chance to sell it and i decided to keep it. Through out the years i couple of things have been replace like Cam sensor/oil change/brakes/motor mounts/and now i have repalce sparks plugs and wire and not cause misfire but cause of 100k requirement. I love the ride/ and by the way couple time have thrown the 155mph govern/ i still does it.
