Which Fuse is for the Radio??
As some of you know,I've put in an Alpine radio during the winter, and this past weekend, the fuse seemed to have blown. Does anyone know which one it is and do you know the replacement number? I'm gonna look at it anyway, but I just need to know which one so there's no second guessing. Thanks to all who reply.

the radio might have it's own on-board fuse accessible on the rear. but you
can also check your fuse map.
this is from 99 MY

Strangely enough, right after I examined the owners' manual ,I discovered spare fuses under my hood . Pop the bad one out,and popped the good one in. For whomever's interested, the '10 red' fuse that goes into point 13 is the one for the radio. Thanks Raymond, for all your help. This is one time I didn't have to spend a dime......

were you able to find a fuse map for your year/model while you were
underneath the hood? i was curious how differnent they were from
my 99 E320. also, on the far left end of your dash....< inch from the
door panel, should be another fuse box as well as map. that one
is another subpanel

Yeah, actually I did find it, it was under the panel where I saw the fuses,it was there and the owners manual that gave me what I needed. There is a panel behind my headlight switch but I haven't had to go there since the point where I changed the fuse under the hood was sufficent.

it would be helpful to know which fuse # you checked. fuses can appear intact but suffer
hairline fractures so it is always better to test the continuity using a volt meter or battery
and light bulb. the radio is also likely to have a fuse on the rear panel. since you have
a new radio, we're not going to know which model you have, right? so better to include
the technical description and specs as well
