STKLAW, your "**** rig" is already too flashy for most residents of Kansas. I don't think more chrome will really matter. Shoulda bought yerself a beige Buick Park Avenue, now that theres a classy car

anyways.. i have seen the chrome rings on black cars and black is what it looks the best on... so STKLAW, i think you shoudl take the leap...besides the E rings aren't too pricey like the ones for the C and DrNIcks has a person to get em cheap...
unfortunately he didn't have any in stock for the C

I wish it were an E55 but alas just a pedestrian E430 Sport. As soon as I hear from the Ring guy I'm going to pull the trigger on a set of chrome ones. Now I just have to decide whether to replace the grill with one that has the star in the middle. Any thoughts anyone?

I bought my rings at http://www.gapa.com they look great and were $75 for the set vs about $156 at the MB dealer

I think they are all the same from 96 through 02. They probably mean new body (w210) compared to the older version E class. Before I bought my 2000 new, I was considering a preowned 1997 and the front end looked the same to me.

I think you can find the rings on e-bay. They go around about $50ish. Take a look.
