Please Help - Decision On New Shoes
Its been quite a while since I've done anything major to the ride so decided to look into getting some new shoes. The style of wheel I am looking at are the lower 2 pics (similar to BBS LMs), the first pic being my existing setup.
I'd kinda caught the "black wheel-on-white-car" bug after Alex's (ex) ride but I realize with black wheels, I'll probably need a tint (as a minimum) and I don't wish to lose my current blue tint...so I'm kinda torn and need some input - should I:
1)Keep my existing rims;
2)Go silver; or
3)Black, no tint?
Any opinion will be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

Debag the rear, paint the emblems black, stick em back on. Tint the windows, get the black with chrome lip rims, Possible black out the tail lights.
Once you do the black tint/rim combo, you might actually like it mroe then the blue stuff.
If im not mistaken, the blue, is dyed glass, so if you really hate the black tint, take it off. I dont know how much your planning on spending, but tint will go for 150ish, take it off about 75 i think. Im sure you'll like it, it looks so clean.

Alex I do agree, but the more I look at it the more the black wheel thing is growing on me . Having just looked at the wheels in person, the decision is most probably to change...whether its silver, gunmetal or black, its another matter ...
Hi Ben, you know how it is, there goes the old chinese proverb - "the neighbour's rice is always more fragrant" (and the same goes for their women too lol)

Rezz, been busy with work...
Judd, I'm on Eibach Pro-kit springs (Euro version - totally different to what you guys have) and Bilstein Sprint (aka Sport) shocks.

'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
Davey boy! I can't believe I missed your thread. Busy with work huh? Me too but back in here like crazy sometimes, lol.
So, although I love the wheels on your ride now, I will have to agree with Alex and go with pic #2. I just love the look of those wheels on your car...
What are those btw, hmmmm???

For me, I guess its boredom and not foreseeing any newer models improving in terms of quality, so would like to play just a bit longer with the car and also test out a new brand of wheel that was introduced recently.
Jimmy, I was beginning to think you'd abandoned me Sent you PM just now...

Thanks SaMas. I am still trying to figure out why Alexbenz did what he did and just sold the thing right afterwards. ..

I'm assuming you used photoshop to see what the wheels would look like? That is a good idea, you should teach me that because I want to see what mods would look like on my car =P

The C36 is a good idea and if you ever go down the E60 route, remember there is a readily available wide-body kit for the M5 by G Power so you won't need to wait 18 months for someone to make it ..if you can't get it, I can help
