My First Ride - Pics!
-crack in the front bumper/broken foglight mount (dads fixing it because he busted it up on a raccoon the day after we got the car)
-the drivers side headrest motor doesn't work
-there's a weird sound at exactly 1500rpm
-the steering wheel makes a little noise
-the right front wheel is scraped to sh*t (old man driver from florida was the only owner of the car and he liked to hit curbs)
-few dings on the roof and hood (presumably from acorns from the tree)
The car was filthy when i first got it but leather product, scrub brushes, claybar and wax and it's looking beautiful. Tell me what you think!

Ad far as that bad right front wheel, those are the same wheels I have on my car and they are as common as dirt; you can buy a decent used one for as little as $100. Try looking on eBay for that.
The steering wheel noise is a common and well-documented issue (MB issued a couple of technical service bulletins on that). The proper fix is to remove the rack and pinion and replace a gasket, pretty expensive if you can't do it yourself. Mercedes steel is way too strong to dent from acorns, my guess is that is hail damage.

check those spring perches on the front end E series around that year are prone to rust failures, and having grown up in Elmont,I remember the salted roads in winter and the rust issues.Give them a good looking over.

Kade: I took my floormats out for the pictures just to show off the now shiny carpet. I wished my original floor mats cleaned well. Thanks for the link I hope to order some nice soft stock floor mats for the summer and use my originals for winter. Unfortunately I don't think that'll happen anytime soon because it's going to take a few days of roofing with my paps to finish paying off the repairs and get a nice cd changer/bracket. CD changer takes priority over floors mats because a kids got to have his music and I can't stand another minute of FM transmitter static.
