Someone have already lower his e320 w210 4matic?
it be 4matic, or traditional 4wd etc, the suspension vs driveline angle is care-
fully and delicately calibrated. if you change it, you would need to assume the
risks of such a destabilization. usually, the impact will be an increase load
(read that as 'wear') on the drive train.
same thing occurs when you lower your car (non-4matic), but the neat thing
here is that by taking it back in for realignment, you can reset the minimum
critical specifications back to within tolerances.
with the 4matic, this adjustability doesn't really exist.
with 4wd trucks, same principle applies...but since 4wd trucking mods are
so prevalent, tons of 4wd mod outfits exist and can bring the driveline back
to within the desired specs...or shim and mod so that any undue stress is
resolved.
so few people (if any, at all) have done this for the 4matic that you are
pretty much on your own, or you'll need to find someone who can guarantee
the results ....and in safe manner.
you're selecting a car for lowering who's platform doesn't lend itself well to
the lowering concept. might be better (cost effective, logistics, etc) to
save this plan for a std RWD model if you can.
otherwise, good luck to you on your efforts, and at least document your
modification for others.
