Like i said in a post a long time ago, they were cheap....and may leak
but u just need pliers to bend the prongs in the bulb sockets, and use a lil silicone so it doesnt leak. thats what i had to do.....
gotta do the research before buying things, oh ya dont ever consider buying the eagle eye headlights :P they suck.
they look just like the picture, message me what buyer u got them from...because i went through the same deal but it sounded like u got a junky set.
I posted a link to a cheap source of inner pieces in another thread here somewhere.
I went for the 6K normal color, not blue at all. Install was definitely not easy. Remove the bumper! Don't try to cheat, though it keeps seeming like a good idea. Follow the directions posted to remove the bumper, but there is one more bolt on each side under the fender inner liner, and oriented crosswise to the car, very long bolts! Then, I found out that my car has Active Lighting. The Eagle Eyes are compatible, but you have to move the motor over from the old cluster to the new one.
Heres's how: Remove the covers from the cluster. Release the motor from the cluster by twisting and pulling like you did with the covers. The motor is still attached to the inner moving light part. Use your hands through the cover holes to move the inner cluster and the motor away from the clusher, and to expose the white plastic retaining ring. It takes some doing, but you can with two screwdrivers, push the ring down into the cluster, off the groove that it was sitting in. Once the ring is off the groove, you can pull the motor off.
To install into the new cluster (you have to remove the vacuum operated system using the same method as above) put the ring on the ball stud on the new cluster. Actuate the moving part through the cover holes to push the ball stud up through the hole. Under the ball stud there is a hole you can insert a screwdriver into (I used a #1 phillips) and once you have immobilised the ball stud this way, you can push the motor onto the ball stud. You'll hear a click when it comes home. Push the moving part through the cover holes and then push the retaining ring up into its groove using a couple of flat screwdrivers.
Now you have the beauty and the brightness of Eagle Eyes and the Active Lighting function works too! It may take a drive or two and a trip to each steering lock above 20 mph before the errors go away on the dashboard. But mine did after a comprehensive testdrive.
Moisture problems which a lot of people were worried about also did not occur in my installation. I did drill holes in my enclosures to run the wiring to the ballasts the same way the stock cluster did. I also used the stock aluminum covers for the ballasts. Be careful if you do this and drill the new housings, it's easy to get dust from drilling into the visible part of the headlight. Run a vacuum as you drill!
Once installed the Eagle Eye Headlights are beautiful, like jewelry for the car and a huge update over the blah W210 stock look.
Bottom Line : I am happy with my Eagle Eyes headlights I got on ebay!!!

You have to be very careful on eBay with electrical parts.
